If you have hair—or even if you don’t—you’ve probably heard of Anthony Morrison. He’s been in the business of hair since the age of 8, although technically it would take an apprenticeship at a top salon in London, enrolling in the London College of Fashion to perfect his skills at hair, design, and fashion, training with Vidal Sassoon, opening his own salons, and a vacation in America before he could call hair his career. What the driven, England-born-and-bred Anthony didn’t predict about his future was that he’d become a TV star, too. Anthony was named winner of the first season of Bravo TV’s Shear Genius. As 1 of 12 hairstylists, he competed in challenges that required more than just talent with a comb and scissors. His telegenic and charismatic nature, combined with superb execution and style, wowed the judges and he took home the top award. He was then invited to become part of the “Glam Squad” on the hit TLC TV show, 10 Years Younger. As the resident hair-makeover artist, Anthony enjoyed the fast-paced shooting schedule and opportunity to transform dozens of men and women. The TV audience was intrigued by his artistry, too, and he quickly became a fan favorite. Anthony opened the successful Anthony Morrison The Londoner Salon, and launched his own product line, Anthony Morrison Hair Care Collection Weightless Moisture. The Anthony Morrison The Londoner Salon in Hermosa Beach, California, features an English tea garden, where high tea is served daily to clients. Each year, Anthony is a celebrity judge at the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA), and has been a featured hair and style expert in magazines articles, including for Allure, Essence, Modern Salon, and Reality Week. He continues to make numerous television appearances as a hair and style expert, including on the TODAY show. Anthony’s unique talent has cultivated a loyal fan base, with an impressive list of high-profile clients as well, such as Jaclyn Smith, Fran Drescher, Tiger Woods, Kathy Griffin, Laila Ali, and Lil’ Kim. In his spare time, Anthony is a fitness enthusiast and marathon runner. He is also fluent in Portuguese.
